View From Mt.Soledad

Last weekend with my hubby & daughter, we stumbled upon this hidden gem in the city. Here I am- 27 years old, born and raised in San Diego and had never been up to Mt. Soledad. The view from up top was breath taking. We took several pictures this day & we bought a strawberry ice cream sandwich from a lady who parked her ice cream truck down the hill from the main attraction. We split the ice cream sandwich 3 ways as we walked up the mountain. Once we arrived at the top we took in the stunning views of the cities coastline and read a few of the memorial plaques up by the cross of Mt. Soledad.
